Kari Samantha Wuhrer (born April 28th 1997) is an American actress and singer. Wuhrer started her career when she was in her teens. She is best known for her character Maggie Beckett on the TV series Sliders and also in the role of the character of Sheriff Samantha Parker, in the horror comedy movie Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer was born within Brookfield Connecticut as her mother was Karin Noble and worked as a pay clerk and German American Andrew Wuhrer. She has 3 siblings. In her teens She performed in nightclubs when she escaped from her home. She studied acting from her 13th birthday at Wooster School. Later, she studied the art of drama at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, Marymount Manhattan College, Columbia University, and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts alongside renowned instructor Uta Hagen.Kari Samantha Wuhrer is an American model, actress and singer. Her birthplace was in Brookfield Connecticut on 28 April her birthplace, she was raised there. Her father is German American and a car dealer and police agent. Kari is the youngest of three siblings. As a teen, Kari would perform in clubs by sneaking away from her home. Kari at the time was 13 years old studied at the Wooster School as well as the Tisch School of the Arts of New York University. She was also a student at Columbia University, Marymount Manhattan College, Marymount Manhattan College and at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in which she was taught by a professor renowned as Uta. Kari began acting when she was when she was in her teens, her first TV break coming from the 1987's MTV Remote Control.
