Jacqueline Fernandez
Jacqueline Fernandez was born in Sri Lanka. She is an actress, model and actor with a focus in the Indian film industry. Her 2006 Miss Sri Lanka Universe title was also won by her. Hailing from a multiracial family of Canadian, Sri Lankan, and Malaysian origin, Fernandez spent the early period of her life living in Bahrain. She earned a bachelor's degree in mass communication at the University of Sydney and worked as a journalist for the TV from Sri Lanka for a considerable time prior to entering the modelling industry. She became one of Sri Lanka's best models following her participation in Miss Universe 2006. In 2009, during her professional tour to India she was offered the role of Jasmine in Sujoy Ghosh's 'Aladin'. Her breakthrough came in the year 2011, when she played the lead female role in Murder 2. The career of Fernandez exploded following the film was a critical and commercial success. She has since starred in movies like Housefull 2 and 3, "Race 2," "Definition of Fear' as well as the film 'Judwaa'. The actress has received numerous prizes and has been a brand ambassador for several companies from around the world. She is a committed community member who supports various charities and causes.
